Jamie is "semi" openly gay. All of his friends in the city know he's gay but he is not openly gay at work or with his family, although it is assumed they suspect. Jamie is still young and not entirely sure what he wants to do with his life, so for now he is working retail till he figures it out.

Jamie lives outside of the city in a small town in the foothills. Although he prefers to live in a small town and be closer to nature, he still wants more interaction with other gays so he comes to the city every weekend.
